Those who were raised by families of idol worshipping usually had more trials in their path. Those who surrendered to idol worshipping and attempted to please men seemingly had an easier path, but in the end it will surely lead to destruction. When a choice is laid before us, that is how God can differentiate the sons of the righteous from the seeds of the wicked one.

Usually after your first step of obedience to the only living God, your adversary will heat up the burning fiery furnace 7 times more. This is the toughest moment. This is the moment doubt will attack you. You thought you serve the Most High God, how can He forsake you? Friends, do not LOST HEART yet. Be assured, God the only living God is ABLE to put down those who walk in pride. (Daniel 4:37) God will punish those who worship idols and visit their iniquities to generations. If you dare to step out in faith and lay your life entirely before God the creator, He is able to save you from every fiery furnace.

Who is Nebuchadnezzar? Who is the one who persecutes you? Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? Behold, the fourth men is coming down to rescue you. The form of the fourth is not a mere human being. The one who rescues you is the Son of God Himself.

Then, even the idol worshipper will say, “There is no other God who can deliver like that.” After the fire, none of these men’s bodies were burnt. Their hair was not singed. Their garments were not affected. Not even the smell of smoke was present. Jesus indeed promises in Mark 16:18, we are able to take up serpents. Even when we drink anything deadly will by no means hurt us.

Either we bow down to Nebuchadnezzar, or we exalt our great God, the one who rules and reigns throughout the earth. Yes, the whole world may lie under the sway of the wicked one. But, greater is Jesus who is in us. Either we INFLUENCE the world or you allow the world to manipulate you.

In all these years, God indeed proved Himself faithful to you. He continued to open Red Sea for you. God even threw your accusers to the den of lions and the lions overpowered them and broke them in pieces. Even Nebuchadnezzar was driven from the sons of men, his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild donkeys. Till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, then the kingly throne was restored back to him.

So, faithful servants of God, look to the reward. Those who endure to the end shall be saved. When the Son of Man comes and sits on the throne of His glory, with His holy angels around Him, He will separate the righteous ones from those that are doomed. Jesus will comfort these faithful ones, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” (Matthew 25:34) That is our eternal reward. Friends, do not be shortsighted. For the things which are seen are temporary, but what had been prepared for us is everlasting.

The wise will make the right choice. Choose this day whom you will serve!

Jesus did promise us abundant lives. But not everyone is living to the fullness of his or her lives. There are actually prerequisites for such good lives. There are conditions on our parts to fulfill before Jesus’ promised life could manifest in all facets of our lives.

Jesus calls us to Him, to return back to His rest. His yoke is gentle, light and easy. If we would take up the light cross He designed specifically for us to bear, we should be delightful, free from worries and victorious everyday. On the contrary, we want to create our own problem. Double-minded Christians are the most miserable people on earth. On one hand, they are not people in the world. They know unbelief is sinful and cannot please God. On the other hand, they are not whole-hearted Christians. They always jump from full of faith, to doubt, then to double-mindedness and end up filled with the stronghold of unbelief.

Jesus is weeping for people like that. He came to set you free. He suffered stripes and pains, so that you can enjoy peace of mind, peace of heart, good health and other blessings. If you would deny yourself, stop striving, and lay down all burdens at the cross, you should be able to smile everyday.

Do you know what that “yes” entails when you said, “I want to follow Jesus”? It means we really forget everything in the past. Never look back. It takes determination to be real Christians. Not only we forget the world, but also every trial and suffering in the past. Some revisit those bad memory or trauma and open door to torment demons to return! Jesus illustrates such determination by telling us to “let the dead bury their own dead, you come and follow me!” Is Jesus mean? No! Is Jesus contradicting His nature of kindness? No! He is just demonstrating to us the significance of letting go of the past. Relationships, burdens, trials and even good memory we must lay completely behind.

The Angel of the Lord gave severe warning to Lot in Genesis 18:17, “Escape for your life. Do not look behind you… lest you be destroyed.” In that moment, the city was smoking like a furnace. Out of heaven, the Lord is raining brimstone and fire on Sodom and Gomorrah. Such a moment is too late for anything! Your double-mindedness will surface at this crucial moment. We were not born to be obedient. We are trained to be obedient to the Lord. The Lord already knew Lot’s wife did not have what it takes to move forward. If you would obey hundred percent in the past, you will automatically obey and keep running for your life now. Anyone who has tendency to look back is trying to save yourself. Jesus warns more than one time, those who try to save yourself will lose your life. You all know Lot’s wife turned into pillar of salt. She did not belong to Sodom and Gomorrah, still was destroyed.

Therefore, my Beloved, LAY THE PAST BEHIND. Your hands were already in the plow, then, continue to work on the assignment Jesus has given you. Change the way we perceived the past. Even our childhood can be stepping stone for our future. We all have a bright future if we would LET GO of the past. Soak our mind in the goodness of God. God can turn every evil in the past into good for us if we would meditate on the abundant life God has intended for us. I beseech you, LET IT ALL GO.

The evil one is very foolish. He knows he is doomed. God has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day for him. (Jude 1:6) Right now, he only has one weak weapon called lies. Through centuries, he just keeps using this weapon to steal, kill and destroy. Nothing much, nothing new. Let us uncover his devices and schemes and overthrow all his plots.

Let us imagine satan as a director of a reality show. He hired actors and actresses and he had all the resources to put on this reality show. (John 8:44) Since you were a baby, satan put scenarios in your situations. He created traumas, loneliness, failures, fears, and betrayal in your childhood. He filled the mouth of your parents and your peers with words of criticism. Words such as “You are a failure” or “You are not beautiful” were just quotes from the script. Satan this director wrote the script and made those actors says them. His intention was to hurt you, to put roadblocks in your life, and to make you believe you were a failure.

Some are afraid of water. Why? Because satan this director put a scenario there in which windstorm got so violent and blew away your loved one. (Who was also an actor.) You were grieved for so many days and vowed to yourself that you will never walk close to the ocean or anything related to water. See, satan was successful in building a stronghold of fear in your life. Whenever you are close to your destiny, he just needs to put “water” or the object of your fear around you, then you will never inherit your blessings from God. That is how satan manipulates you in your whole entire life.

Friends, the truth will definitely set you free. But you must humble yourself, hear with your ears and understand with your heart. The very thing that holds you back is the very thing that can set you free. If you would face “water” or the object of your fear, and challenge this fear, you will be set free forever. As you embark on this journey of faith, satan, of course, will not give up easily. When you walk close to the seashore, he as a director of this reality show will darken clouds by turning on the lighting and sound effects. He can even hit the windstorm button to remind you of your “trauma” in your childhood. However, the deep cry for freedom inside of you is stronger than any weak lies of fear. You must attain your victory. So you keep sailing and sailing. Guess what? Satan can ONLY do this much. God Almighty has set a boundary line for him. Satan cannot kill you. Eventually, he has to give up and turn on the sunlight button. Then, all the windstorms subside. There are water everywhere in your boat, even some fish, but your life is SAFE. You are safe in the palm of God’s hands. Hallelujah! Hahahah! What can satan do to me? That is all you got?! Satan, you only got a button of wind and a button of storm!

Finally, your boat reaches the end of this illusion. You hit something hard. It is the wall of the TV studio. You are completely awakened. All those trauma, sadness, and fears in your past were simply an act. It is a scam. Your whole entire life is being watched on TV. God knows you can make it out of this trap. God has faith in you. He knows that you will one day realize nothing can hinder you to freedom. You then push the EXIT door and you are out of this TV studio. This is just like at the end of the cartoon scooby-doo, when the masks of the villains are removed, they are not monsters at all. They are not vampires at all. It is just a fake show. Fear is completely unreal. They are but mere lies.

Friends, you are smarter than the devil. No longer repeat the same pattern of fleeing from your fears. Surprise the enemy. Do something the director will never suspect you to do. Sail to your fears and challenge your fears. You cannot die. The devil can ONLY do that much. Facing your fears is not life threatening. You are the apple of God’s eyes and God says “NO” to satan. Satan cannot harm you. In the end, God will restore double portion of blessings to you and you will not suffer like that any more. Look at Job, God turns his situations around 360 degree. Trust in your Abba Father wholeheartedly. Be determined to strive for your freedom. Obey faith and venture in faith. Your determination will upset satan and he has to give up and fool someone else.

Face to Face Encounter

We were predestined to meet our Maker. Before the foundation of the earth, He had appointed this moment of face to face encounter. The day is coming this vessel is ready to be presented to the Potter. Then, our longing will be satisfied.

Because of this veil that lies in our heart and mind, we tend to flee from His presence. Now the veil is removed through Christ. There is no creature hidden from His sight. All are naked and open to the eyes of Him. This emptiness inside must be satisfied by our Maker. Running away or resorting to substitutes can never quench the thirst of our soul. We must return back to our Maker.

When we have a face to face encounter with our Creator, His glory will be seen upon us. We will be radiant with His glory and our hearts will swell with joy. We behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. It is not a scary moment. It is a liberating moment.It is also a moment of transfiguration. When His glory passes by, we will taste all of His goodness. He manifests His name, “The Lord, the Lord God merciful and faithful, longsuffering and abounding in goodness and truth.”

Even the Gentiles will come to your light and kings to the brightness of your rising. Do not be surprised when people gaze at your shining face. You are no longer the same. You had been transformed into His image. In this twinkling of an eye, there is impartation of His glory. Lift up your eyes all around and see. They all gather together and come to see your light. Do not feel embarrassed when they lay gifts at your feet! The day of your mourning shall be ended. Your sun shall no longer go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself for the Lord will be your everlasting light.

Father has predestined you, called you, justified you by Jesus’ blood, and now He is glorifying you. He wants to fill you with favor and honor everywhere you go.

Let us be persistent like Moses. Give Him no rest until His glory is revealed. “Show me Your glory. I will not let You go until you show me Your glory.”

Continual Goodness

We will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. Again I say, we will see the goodness of God in the land of the living. Surely, surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.

God is calling special chosen ones to launch a legacy of goodness and mercy, which will lasts for thousand generations. Surely, our God will show mercy, grace, favor to thousands, to those who love Him and keep His commandments. (Exodus 20:6) Friends, after PROMOTION, goodness of God should continue on till infinity. As our hearts bow down in awe before this God of consuming fire, and by His GRACE, it is possible we do not fall into sins later on nor suffer any sicknesses any more. I am saying by His GRACE, through our faith and application of wisdom, it is possible we allow this life of goodness to abide forever. We do not have to be like David, failing at a certain point after promotion. Instead, we can choose to be like Job and Joseph, who sustain God’s goodness to the fullness of their days.

Let us first take a look at Job. Compared to the one and only one year’s suffering, God’s goodness lasts for 210 years. Through that one year’s suffering, Job suffered many terrible losses: from the stealing of animals to the murdering of his servants; from the losing of loved ones to the physical suffering of painful boils from the sole of his feet to the crown of his head. When the time of restoration came, the Lord indeed gave Job twice as much as he had before. The Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. The bible did not say Job fall into sins later on. Nor did he suffer any more sicknesses. All we can see is goodness of God permeated him and his household. He saw his children and grandchildren for 4 generations. So he died, old and full of days.

There was another biblical precedent who retained God’s goodness even after his promotion. Joseph’s suffering last for 23 years. (From 17 years old –30 years old) During this time, he was betrayed by his own family members and most of his time was “spent” in prison. During those days, he told God and himself, “I will forever remember your kindness if you would deliver me from my affliction.” Later on, we all knew he was promoted and stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. He ruled and distributed resources for the whole land of Egypt. Just as the blessings his father bestowed on him, Joseph was fruitful, strong, and mighty. Blessings of heaven and blessings of the deep continued to shower upon him and his family for the rest of his life. The blessings of his father had excelled the blessings of his ancestor up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills.( Genesis 49:22-26)

Deep in Joseph’s heart, he kept his vow to God. He never repaid his brother’s evil deeds, even after his father’s death. He spoke kindly to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant for good, in order to save many people’s lives.” He even comforted them and said, “I will provide for you.” Can you imagine? He will provide for his enemies! Such a heart of true forgiveness deserves a lifetime of God’s goodness and beyond. Again, no where in the bible mentioned that he fell into sins nor suffered any sicknesses later on. He lived 110 years. He saw Ephraim’s child to the third generation. Even the son of Manassah were brought up on Joseph’s knees.

As a matter of fact, God did promise David PEACE at all sides after his promotion. Nevertheless, David in 2 Samuel Ch11 forgot God’s mercy. Just like Nathan’s words, David despised the commandment of the Lord and did evil in His sight. See, God requires more of His chosen servants. He wants his 5-fold ministers to set a godly example for his church and for the world. By His sovereign act of mercy, He finally raises us up and delivers us from all trials. He promises a hedge of protection all the days of our lives. People of God, it is all grace. If we would cultivate a humble spirit, God would even give us much more! (2 Sam12:8) Do not forget His sovereign act of mercy! Do not go and sin secretly and take advantage of your power and position! Men and Women of God, God is raising up revivalists who will not fall later on. God is approving certain chosen ones who will be used mightily by God in the last days and continue His goodness for thousand generations. They will not succumb to any kind of immorality. Nor will they suffer any physical sicknesses. The glory of God abide in their midst. They remember their trials in prison. Their hearts are filled with gratitude. Their tongue will not sin and they apply WISDOM on every level of their success. That is why together with these peculiar ones of the coming army of God, heroes in Hebrews 11 will finally be made perfect.

These unique ones had been tested and tried like Joseph, molded and remolded like Moses, purified and refined like Daniel. Their sincere desire is the fulfillment of promises and the descending of the long awaited revivals that had been prophesized. They just want to glorify God and see His church be presented to God as glorious, not having spot, wrinkle or any such thing, holy and without blemish.

So, Men and Women of God, today, make an honest decision. Do you want to be like David? Or do you prefer to be Joseph? By God’s grace and mercy, through a humble and contrite heart, we are ABLE to obey God radically, even to the ends of the earth. When He looks down from the throne, will He find faithful and loyal servants whom He can entrust with revival power? Can He raise you up now as His ambassador? Can He use you now to spark revivals, exhibit miracles and enflame the world? Can He finally release this unprecedented level of greater glory to the earth?

The Majestic God

The Majestic God

We all love beautiful things. We love diamonds, jewels, natural scenery and the like. Do you know the most beautiful place in this whole universe resides on the throne? Our God is the most splendid person. His throne and the glory surrounding Him sparkle. The more we behold Him, the more we discover how little our enemies are.

The appearance of the throne is like sapphire blue. It is also mingled with jasper, sardius and amber red. There is one who sits on the throne, having the appearance of a man high above it. Fire is all around Him, within Him, through Him, above his waist up and from His waist downward. It is not just fire, but also brightness. A green rainbow resembles an emerald circle all around Him. Above Him are thunder and lightning. Can you imagine thousands of light bulbs are all turned on at the same time? How bright will that be? That is the likeness of the appearance of the glory of the Lord. Since the four living creatures behold this God day and night, His glory rubs on them and it sparkles like beryl, like crystal, in the intersecting of the wheels surrounding the four living creatures. The wheels symbolize the strong presence of God which is surrounding the throne.

He is sitting on the throne. He sees everything. He sees that you are being chased by the enemies and are being attacked by injustice. Now this majestic God is coming down to war for you. He rides upon a cherub and flies upon the wings of wind. Yes, the north wind of judgment is coming to blow against your enemies. He comes down to avenge on His elect. At the same time, He is hidden in the canopy of the “dark” cloud. While your enemies are still unnoticed, this invisible God will suddenly show up.

The Most High is angry at your enemies. How dare he touch the apple of God’s eyes? When God is angry, smoke goes up from His nostrils. Devouring fire is released from His mouth, kindled with coals of fire. Your enemies are the one who needs to be scared, not the children of God. The children of God should be bold and courageous. When God hears your voice from the temple, He opens his mouth and rebukes your enemies. At His rebuke, at the blast of the breath of His nostrils, even the channels of the sea were seen. Even the foundation of the world was shaken. Then the earth trembles. The foundation of the hills quakes. (Psalm 18)

That is how almighty your God is. My beloved, if you would behold His glory, cultivate His presence and uncover His power, His glory would have invaded your situations and your enemies would have run in terror from you. The devil just uses his craftiness to lie to you. He is just a little snake. How about we perceive him as a toy snake or a dog with no teeth. He tries to imitate God to roar “like” a lion, but he is fake. When the mighty LION of fire really roars, it is thunder, lightning, and hailstones with coals of fire. Such loud noises are our God. He shoots at your enemies with arrows and He vanquishes them with lightning after lightning.

When this majestic God arms us with strength, we can leap over a wall. We can run against a troop. That is called GRACE. When we relinquish control and surrender our human efforts, Jehovah Nissi will endow us with power from on high. That is why we can say GREATER is God living in us than this cunning snake which is in the world. God even sets us on the high places. And we then soar high like eagles and are able to see in advance the evil plans of the enemies. Holy Spirit is teaching our hands to war and our arms can bend a bow of bronze. With the shield of faith and salvation on one hand and the sword of the Spirit on the other hand, we are able to pursue, destroy, wound our enemies until they cannot even rise up. We must beat them as fine dust before the wind and cast them out like dirt. Victory belongs to the children of the Most High and defeat belongs to the army of the evil one.

The day has come that our enemies say to themselves, “Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it” and then they voluntarily take a sword and fall on it. They are so scared of your God and they simply give up on chasing you. This is called David’s reward. ( I Samuel 31:4) God is giving you David’s reward, which is the utter destruction of your enemies. That is how God saves the humble and brings down the haughty looks. Remember, surely, God gives grace to the humble, raises them up and promotes them to be the head, not the tail, above only and not be beneath. Children of the Most High, salvation, deliverance, reward, and promotion belong to you. Rise up! Rise up! Children of the Most High God! Let us be bold like our majestic God for God is for us, He is on our team and He always causes us to triumph in Christ.

Times of Transition

In times of transition, God is weaving the puzzles together. Almighty God is working behind the scene. Seemingly, nothing much is happening. Actually, the Only Wise One is causing all things to work together, so that a meaningful outcome will come forth.

During these times, we must relax and allow the wind of change to blow us to the promised land. We must guard our mind from doubt and double-mindedness. We must make a strong decision in our hearts to wholly follow God. We must lay the past behind. All the memories of sufferings, failures, good or bad choices, we must forget them all. We must cast down all vain imaginations and the fear of unknown on the cross of Calvary. Allow the blood of Jesus to wash over our mind, our emotions and our bodies. Allow the Holy Spirit to bring restoration and recovery to our entire beings.

If our mind is willing to cooperate with this first stage of letting go of the past, the wind of change will blow faster as it is a sign that we are READY to possess. If disobedience gets in the way, you could be stuck on this first stage of recovery process. Scripture says, we must set our mind and keep it set on things above. Paul beseeches us to only meditate on things that are TRUE, noble, pure, lovely and of GOOD REPORT. Paul did not tell us to entertain lies, trials, demonic attacks, lack or rejection in the past. So, friends, RENEW YOUR MIND. Everyday, Holy Spirit is trying to renew your mind. But you must cooperate. Do not plan to have one more suffering. Instead, get ready to cross over to the land flowing with honey and milk. Before you can taste the good of the land, your mind must be ready for God’s rain of goodness. Offer your mind and your heart as a living sacrifice to God by filling your mind on good, acceptable and perfect will of God---which means ONLY GOODNESS AND MERCY CAN COME TO ME.

In the past years, you might go through trials like David: hiding in the cave, escaping from your enemies, always on the move, never have much rest. But now, the time of trial is over. Saul was dead. Renew your mind. The throne is prepared for David. Now is David’s time. So, be prepared to put on royal robes and eat delicacies. Friends, if Joshua and Caleb can make it to the end, you can also do it. If Joshua and Caleb can forget 40 years’ wilderness suffering, you can also attain it. As a matter of fact, because of Caleb’s faithfulness, God has kept his promises for him.

Caleb was as strong as the day Moses sent him. Moses sent him to spy on the land when he was 40 years old. He brought back good report because he trusted in God. Now he is 85 years old. Through that 45 years, Caleb wholly followed the Lord God of Israel. He never turned to the right or to the left. His mind always recalled the great day when the Red Sea was opened and the Egyptians were punished severely. He did not allow wilderness suffering to overwhelm him. He kept renewing his mind and deliberately remembered the goodness of God. As a result, he received his inheritance and the promises of God. (Joshua 14:6-15)

Waiting is like getting on a ferry or ship. You gaze at the sky and the sea. You thought you have to wait for a while before it arrives. Nevertheless, without your conscious awareness, suddenly, immediately, you turn back and finds out all the passengers are leaving the ferry. What happens? Because WAITING IS OVER. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. Be ready, for the promises are coming at an hour you do not expect. (Matthew 24:42) Do not plan to wait forever. Posture yourself to move forward and possess the promised land. It does not take that long for the ferry to go from one place to another.

Friends, be assured in all your hearts, and in all your souls that not one thing will fail of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke CONCERNING YOU. All will surely come to pass for you. Not one word of them will fail. (Joshua 23:14)

Do not get startled when you are tested again! If Peter was tested and Abraham was tried, we will surely be put through fire. It is vital that we realize this: We will always be tested right after a significant victory, such as a powerful healing or right before the manifestation of a long-waited promise. If we will be ready of this kind of patterns, the possibility to overcome the next temptation will be higher.

Please also notice that God did not tempt us. Satan is the one who tempts you. God allows those temptations to come to check our heart conditions. It seems like the demonic cohorts in hell somehow can find out God’s divine time clock on us. It is like satan knows the best moment to push your button. If you are still on chapter one, he will leave you alone, but only temporarily. Wait until you are on the chapter when you are about to usher in your destiny, he will surely show up and give you a surprise. You thought you would not betray Jesus. Wait until the onset of extreme fiery trial, when everyone ran away from Jesus and even a stranger’s careless words at the fireplace could entice Peter to disown Jesus.

God is constantly checking our hearts to see if we are WORTHY of the upward call of God. He wants to make sure we bear fruits of repentance worthy of the high calling. He cannot give us pearls lightly. Only those who possess the holy fear of God can be entrusted with great power and significant responsibility. He needs to be certain there are “no part dark” in us any more. No more baggage, bitterness, unforgiveness or unsettled issues remain in us. That is why once a while, He will give you a similar situation to see how you react. If you have truly settled things in the past and have totally forgiven those who had hurt you harshly, you will respond with grace, mercy, and love to your PRESENT SITUATION.

If this majestic God evokes complete awe on us, we will absolutely guard our hearts from offence. Offence is the most common form of tests God allows to come to our ways. Most people lose their healing right away when someone offend them on their way out of the healing avenues. The devil is good at stealing your victory. Get ready and be prepared to lay down your life for Jesus. We must protect our victory and healing. Abide in love and be quick to forgive. Overcome all accusations by the power of Jesus’ love. Do not try to defend yourself. Sometimes the adversary is probably right. Let Jesus be your advocate. Christ IS making intercession for you day and night. Stand still and you will see the salvation of the Lord. Once again I repeat, we must guard our victory from offence.

In times of tests, we cannot succumb to the voice of the flesh. Obey your heart where the Holy Spirit resides. There is just a fine line to choose between right and wrong. We can act impulsively, pamper our flesh uncontrollably or we can put to death the deeds of the flesh, by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit from within. We do not have to lose our destiny like Moses did. We should be able to supersede Moses’ mistake and possess or victory. The bible is for application, not for listening only. We must DO the word, apply the word to every situation and every test. We must show our God that we are indeed worthy of that healing, deliverance, precious promises and the high callings He had predestined us to walk in them.

Choose this day whom you will serve. Choose this day which Bible characters you want to be. Do you want to be like Moses who made a mistake at Kadesh and lost his destiny? Or do you prefer to be Caleb who obeyed God’s voice all the way till the end? Let us imitate Joseph who said “NO” to fleshy temptations. Let our hearts be steadfast, never sway, no matter how much heat this fire intensifies. In the end, God will accredit us as we achieve our stunning victory.

Some of us were raised up by stingy parents. You had developed the habit of “worrying” because when you were in need, your parents would not give you enough. You tried to help yourself but you knew you were just a mere human being, confined by limitations and boundaries. After you became a Christian, you have a hard time to believe your Heavenly Father wants to give you good things. You shy away when you come to the time of asking for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. You even feel guilty when you think of the word “blessings.”

As compared to our earthy parents, our perfect Father is a generous giver. Let us imagine this scenario. One day, Abba Father knocks at the door and comes in. He said, “I am taking you to Walmart (or a huge department store), you can grab anything you want.” Instantly, you are standing in front of all these merchandise. Father encourages you once again,“You can freely take anything from the beauty/cosmetic/shampoo section. You can get anything from the clothes section, kitchen section, bedding section and you can have any food you want. Just put them in this cart. They are all yours. I will pay for everything.”

If our minds renew and our hearts would be persuaded that we have a generous Father, it would be much easier for us to receive gifts or blessings from God. Some take a long time before they speak in tongues because they struggle if God wants to give them free gifts. Others find it hard to understand grace because they used to rely on their own strengths when they had no one to help them in times of need. When Holy Spirit introduces the concept of grace to them, they do not know how to RECEIVE. They do not know how to “come” and “drink” from the river of life even though it is all “free”. Friends, do you know Father God wants to give you good gifts MORE THAN you do? You said, “how come He still did not answer my prayers?” Actually, God is not the one in fault. Rather, we are the one who HINDERS the answered prayers. Our perception of “FATHER” hinders us to “receive”.

Jesus said, “Until now you have asked nothing in my name.” Either we do not feel worthy to ask. Or we do not ask in faith. Or we doubt if He will answer our prayers. Any of these mindsets are roadblocks to our answered prayers. Jesus said, “if you abide in Him, do what is pleasing to Him, ask ANYTHING in my name, I will do it.” Friends, He wants to give you good gifts and perfect gifts. He wants to satisfy the desires of your heart so that your JOY can be full. Most of us, I believe, will give bread, egg and fish to our children. Then, how much more will our Father who is in heaven gives us even a whole banquet! At His disposal, He is able to release any resources to us. Jesus said, “In my Father’s house, there are many mansions.” Ababa Father owns the whole universe and He is able to give you any provisions, any healing, any deliverance, and any miracles you desire and need.

As we have received Jesus Christ, God has given us the right to be children of God and can enjoy all His blessings. Our Father is perfect. He loves you with the SAME love He loves Jesus, His only begotten Son. He rejoices over you, just like the bridegroom rejoices over the bride. He has inscribed you on the palms of His hand. He has created you, formed you, redeemed you, called you by name and He said, “You are mine.” He has counted the numbers of your hair and He said, “even to your old age, I am He; and even to gray hairs, I will carry you.” As far as the heavens are high above the earth, so GREAT is His mercy and love towards those who fear Him.

Let us change the way we relate to our Heavenly Father. If you know He is perfect and He loves you deeper than you can imagine, how would you act? As a matter of fact, He wants to grant your requests MORE THAN you do. He needs you to remove the roadblock of unbelief. He needs you to perceive Him properly. When you finally touch Father’s heart, His showers of blessings will pour continuously to you. The renewal of your mind will even open the window of heaven and hasten those promises. You will finally understand the privilege of being the child of God and the joy of having a generous Father.

Almost every Disney story finished with a happy ending. The Prince finally found the girl whose foot could match the glassy shoe. Cinderella was suddenly turned into Princess as they were walking down the red carpet on their wedding day at the big grand palace.

God is now pouring Omega anointing to us to complete everything He had started. If there is a Genesis, surely the Bible will wrap it up with the book of Revelation. The glory of the latter house is surely brighter than the former. In Revelation 22:13, God said, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.” God created us in Christ Jesus for good works. He worked on us again and again. Now, he is adding the covering on top of this masterpiece. It is like a finishing touch! It is like adding frosting on top of a cake when the cake is done baking, ready to be served.

All we need to do is to walk into the finishing anointing as God is completing the whole picture. (Ephesians 2:10) Together with us, all these giants who were mentioned in Hebrews 11 were finally made perfect. Dreams come true. It is not fantasy. We do not need to go to DisneyWorld to have a light glimpse. All we hoped for and dreamt of finally manifest into reality. Those great giants sowed their good testimony of faith and now we are reaping the substance and the evidence of everything we have interceded and seen in the Spirit. The glassy shoe fits perfectly on our foot and we are instantly taken into the time frame of happy ever after.

This is a work of grace, not by our might, nor by our power. By the grace of God, you were able to overcome every obstacle, insult, hardship, lack, rejection and betrayal in the past. By the grace of God, you are now walking into the time frame of new beginning. In the old dimension, you were being look down whilst in the new dimension, you are being looked up. Those past trainings were necessary stepping stones. As you chose to follow Christ in every step of your way, you have built yourself a solid unshakable house. The strengths God had developed in you in all those years are necessary for days ahead. It takes strengths, might, and wisdom to rule. God is shouting grace grace to you. He had laid the foundation and His hands are finishing it right now. Let us receive this great grace. (Zechariah 4:6)

Are you ready now to receive your double portion of blessings? It is not warring time. It is receiving time. Do you realize you are worthy to RECEIVE your rightful inheritance? Indeed, the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before. Are you ready to receive twice in every aspect of your life? Take a look at Job’s double portion of blessings: Restoration of friends, restoration of comfort at all sides, restoration of children, restoration of health and beauty and last but not least, restoration of sheep, camels, oxen, donkey. His latter days are indeed better than the beginning. He lives to the full of his days.

Let us renew our mind. Instead of expecting one more trial, how about we position ourselves to receive at least one blessing per day? Suddenly, this blessing comes. Immediately, that restoration emerges. One thing we must all do, forgetting and keep forgetting every hardship in the past. We must fix our eyes on the author and finisher of our faith. Now is receiving time. The glassy shoe is coming and the moment you put it on, your life will never be the same again. Let us press toward this goal. The golden trophy is set right before you. What is the point of running such a long race and not holding this golden trophy up and high? We must win this race. Through faith, we must inherit our promises. Through patience, we must enter into our happy ever after!

We are created to worship God. God is searching for true worshippers, those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. God is not searching for good singing voices. He is seeking true worshippers. Everyone can sing to God. You just need a worshipful heart to sing to God. In the secret place, everyone can open their mouth and sing to God. We can sing our prayers to God. We can even sing in the spirit, sing a new tongue, sing a new song, and sing our prophecies and declarations to God.

We pray, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be down on earth, as it is in heaven.” In heaven, there is only victory. There is no lack, no sickness and no misery. How can we appropriate heavenly victory to earth? We can imitate what they do in heaven. The four living creatures sing for all eternity, “Holy, holy, Lord God almighty, who was, who is and who is to come.” We can join the twenty-four elders and cry, “You are worthy, O God, to receive glory and honor and power. For you created all things, and by your will they exist and were created.” Psalm 119:164 tells us to praise God seven times a day. Some of us worry of what people think of our voices and do not even praise God one time a day! In our intimate fellowships with God, we can all compose new songs unto God. It does not matter if it is off key or not. God is very pleased when you worship Him in spirit and in truth. Truth means without hypocrisy. We are not putting on a show. There is no audience. We are just offering our vocal chords to God in spirit and in truth.

There is a time to pray and there is also a time to sing. That is why Paul said on one hand, he prays in understanding and in tongues. On the other hand, he sings in understanding and in tongues. New anointing and breakthrough will come when we add music to our prayers, declarations or prophecies. When we sing our prophecies out, a sharp two-edged sword is coming forth from our mouth and we are actually binding our enemies with chains and irons. God is executing vengeance and judgment on our enemies as the high praises of God are arising from our midst! (Psalm 149:6)

Some warfare comes simply because of the mouth of the dragon. The devil either accuses or speaks lies. When the mouth of the dragon is sealed, the warfare will cease. Jesus has ordained strength even in the mouth of babes and nursing infants. As our mouth sing and worship God, our enemies are being silenced, one after another. God does want to end certain warfare. He is waiting on us to sing. When we sing, our enemies will flee. When we sing, angels will encamp around us and chase after our enemies. That is how we can overcome the accuser. We overcame him by singing “the word of our testimony” out. Not only we declare victory, but also we can sing our victory out. We can sing “the blood of Jesus” and sing aloud the defeat of our enemies. (Revelation 12:10)

Sometimes God did not move until we sing. As they BEGAN to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushes against Jehoshaphat’s enemies. When they continued to sing, their enemies even helped to destroy each other. ( 2 Chronicles 20:21-23) How about the time when the priests blew the trumpets and they all shout with a great shout? The wall of Jericho fell down flat. (Joshua 6) What if you are thrown to prison unjustly? Learn from Paul and Silas, sing praises and make music to God. As we do this, our chains will be broken and bondage will be loosened.

Let us make a joyful shout to the Lord. Let us offer the sacrifice of praise to Him. Praise is a sacrifice because some feel embarrassed to sing. Others already felt depressed because of the adverse circumstance. But, let us just lay aside our feelings and offer this one sacrifice to God. When we sing, God will arise and our enemies will all scatter. (Psalm 68:1) The wicked will perish from the presence of God. When we sing, God’s arrow will shoot at our enemies and they will be suddenly wounded. (Psalm 64:7)

Friends, you will soon discover the power of the high praises of God. The dead does not praise the Lord. We are alive. As we worship Him, you will be strengthened, saved, healed and delivered. He is our strong tower, our refuge and our hope. Let us praise Him yet more and more. This honor has all His saints.

Apostle Paul said, “I thank my God I speak with tongues more than you all.” Paul told us to imitate him. We cannot neglect the gift God has given us. We cannot take it for granted. Do you recall the joy when Holy Spirit baptized you with the evidence of speaking in tongues? After a long time of lack of practice, some almost forgot they are to pray in the spirit. If Paul spoke in tongues more than we all do, we should imitate him and begin to uncover the power of this ancient gift.

Power will be activated from within as we pray in the spirit. We are very familiar with every piece of the armor of God, but do we remember to pray always with all prayers and supplications in the spirit? (Ephesians 6:18) Some try to war with their own strengths. We can only win with the working of His mighty power that is working from within us. (Ephesians 1:19) The way to activate power from within is by praying in the spirit. That is how we can build ourselves up on our most holy faith. (Jude 1:20) Before we can edify others, we must edify ourselves first. (I Cor 14:4) Everyday as we practice speaking in tongues, God is doing unusual things in our spirit men. As we speak mysteries to God in the secret place, your atmosphere is permeated with the supernatural and the presence of God.

As we submit our tongues to the Holy Spirit, we are surrendering our lives to Him. James 3:8 said no one can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil and is full of deadly poison. So, if you can control your tongue, you are already perfect because you can bridle your whole body. Do you want to be more fruitful in your life? Practice praying in the spirit. As you let the Holy Spirit take full control of your tongue, you are letting God to rule over your body. All our carnal natures will be brought to subjection to the Holy Spirit as we allow Him to pray through us. The new law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus is taking dominion and you are set free from the law of sin and death. You will find yourselves hating those fleshly things and you become more fond of those heavenly things.

You become more spiritually minded. Life and peace are replacing death. You find it much easier to put to death the deeds of your carnality. Praying in tongue everyday renews your mind. You are transformed and your mind is gradually filled with God’s good, acceptable and perfect will of God. Those who love to worry or wander with their mind should practice praying in the spirit everyday so that Holy Spirit can change your mind through the bridling of your tongue supernaturally. Apart from that, strongholds will be pulled down as our minds are gradually renewed. Lies and wrong mindsets will be exposed and brought to the light. Our minds and bodies are being captivated to the obedience of Christ.

Jackie Pullinger’s Vineyard Church in Hong Kong used the gift of speaking in tongues to help drug addicts. Many overcame their drug addiction through speaking in tongues. When temptation came, the new converts would speak in tongues to overcome evil desires. The fire of the Holy Spirit burnt the old nature and they began to walk in the newness of Christ. In times of dryness or intense warfare, Holy Spirit will give us new prayer languages. When we run out of words, allow Holy Spirit to help us with our weaknesses. Sometimes, we can even ask Holy Spirit to give us warfare utterance. In this way, the devil cannot overhear what we are praying about. They cannot spy on us, nor report back to their masters. We may even avoid certain counter-attacks as our spirits speak mysteries to God in which no demons can understand. Besides, Holy Spirit knows the mind of Christ and as we cooperate with God, Holy Spirit groaning, together with Christ’ intercession for us, will bring utter destruction to our enemies. On the other hand, as Holy Spirit changes utterance from time to time, He may be making intercession for other saints through us. (Ephesians 6:18) You may have saved a missionary in Africa from dangers, as you are willing to yield your vessel to the Holy Spirit to pray through you.

The Senior Apostle in one of the biggest churches in Singapore asked everyone of his church member to practice speaking in tongues at least 15 minutes a day. In 10 years, his church grew from a few to more than 10,000. He had planted churches in South-East Asia. Recently, he appeared on godtv as he was invited to preach in Sweden. Learning from this, we should all be awakened to this precious gift. Let’s discipline ourselves everyday. Lay down 15 minutes to God. Rest our mind and understanding. Simply open our mouth and let Holy Spirit take full control. As you do this, you will revive yourself and become more fruitful in all areas of your lives. People at work will sense the presence of God around you. They can tell you look more energized and cheerful. Especially a the end of the day when you are tired and worn out, open your mouth and let His utterance help you. You will soon discover revivals are following you everywhere you go.

For those of you who desire to receive this prayer language. Pray this prayer aloud. “Holy Spirit, I believe you are part of the trinity. Holy Spirit, I desire to know you more. I desire to have a more intimate relationship with you. Jesus, you said that how much more will our Father who is in heaven gives good gifts to those who ask you. Please give me this prayer language. In Jesus’ name. Holy Spirit, loosen all bondage in my vocal chord that hinder me to flow in the Spirit. Free me from any fears that hinder the supernatural. I quiet my mind and I forsake all logic and reasoning. In Jesus’ name, cleanse me from all religious spirits and legalisms. Let deliverance anointing comes to my mouth, my vocal chord and my tongue. Let the supernatural utterance bubble forth from my belly. I relax my tongue and let you Holy Spirit to take over. I surrender my tongue and my body to your lordship. Let Acts 2 rushing mighty wind and tongues of fire appear now. In Jesus’name.Amen. Thank you Holy Spirit for this new prayer language.”

Father God, removes this deception off our minds and hearts, so we will finally understand love. Pours the spirit of wisdom and revelation to us, enlightens our inner eyes, so we will finally grasp the meaning of Christ’ love. Breaks the stronghold of fear off us now. Let deliverance comes now, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Fear is the strongest blockage to love. Fear separates God and men. Fear never existed until the fall of men. Our understanding of love was decreasing as fear started to take root since Genesis one. We no longer think that love will work. Everyone puts on fear guard to protect ourselves from more hurts. We cannot trust anyone because we are afraid that will get hurt again. Instead of putting on the armor of God, we put on fear guard. No one can never see the real us because we are hiding behind this fear shield. Some were not raised in families of love. For generations, no one taught them how to love. So when they became parents, all they knew were sowing fear to their children, teaching them to be afraid of germs, sickness, accidents or bad things. Some parents created an atmosphere of superstitions to the young hearts. Since the time when they were babies, they were formatted to expect bad things to come to their days.

Therefore, love never operates in our lives. We do not believe in love. Instead, we believe in fear. Now, Holy Spirit comes to reprogram us. He is changing the object of our faith. Instead of putting faith in fear, we will put faith in LOVE now. We must believe in love and believe that love will actually work. Who am I to doubt love? Who am I to say love may not work? Even when I was a sinner, Christ died for me. Even before I existed on this planet earth, Christ demonstrated His love for me. Who dare to die? We dare to lend something to others. We dare to help people. But who dare to go that far, even to the point of death? Holy Spirit, removes this deception of fear off us, so we will finally see this bold love, this fearless love, this love which dares to die---something no one will do except Christ.

This love is our greatest protection and shield. Let us put off fear guard and put on the SHIELD OF LOVE. We will not be afraid of hurts because Christ’ love is the thickest armor protecting us. We do not need to defend ourselves when someone challenges us because Christ is our advocate. He is our judge and He will judge all men. We do not need to get angry to act tough because love is not easily angered. A heart of love can turn anger away and that anger is melted away by the POWER OF LOVE. Satan can throw fiery darts at us all he wants. But surely, nothing can separate us from the LOVE OF CHRIST---absolutely nothing. This love protects us from all dangers or hardships. Because of this love, our garments will not be burnt even when we are thrown to the lion’s den. Because of this love, Steven can say Father, forgive them, for what they do, they do not understand.

We do not really understand the meaning of sacrifice. Let me give you a scenario. For example, we ordered a nice meal at the restaurant. The meal comes and we are about to enjoy. Suddenly, someone comes in and tells you he is very hungry. Unwillingly, you sacrifice your nice meal and offer it to him. This is just an example of minor sacrifice. What did Christ actually do for us? He has loved us so much to give Himself up for us all as an offering and a sacrifice to God, for a sweet smelling aroma.(Eph 5:2) Until we understand Christ’ sacrifice for us, we still do not know love. Satan has no love. Satan is extremely upset that Christ will love us to the utmost. Satan is selfish while Christ is selfless. Sacrifice is not only a cost, but also a PAIN. We feel painful inside when we have to sacrifice our valuables. Christ endured this pain of sacrifice because of His unspeakable love for us.

Some act angry or tough all the time and thinking that anger is a power. Others perceive hatred as power. Some act angry or upset in unfair situations to show people they are not weak. However, anger, hatred, offence or raising our voices are neither the demonstrations of power, nor the exercising of authority. All these are destructive emotions. Fear, anger, hatred, easily offended attitudes are WEAKNESSES. We are getting weaker and weaker as we dwell and meditate on fear, anger, and unforgivness. On the contrary, only one element is power. That is LOVE. Among the three things Paul talked about, the greatest of these is LOVE. More love, more power. Love is the strongest force to uphold you. Love never fails. Love can face an angry person and not feeling afraid. Love can talk to a proud person and not being intimidated. REAL COURAGE comes from a heart of love, which is rooted and grounded in Christ’ love. And this love surpasses all knowledge. When our hearts are established in this love which knows no width, no depth, no height, how can we be afraid any more? Our hearts become as bold as a lion. Springing from this heart of endless love, we are able to speak the truth in love, to those who are rebellious and stubborn. The spirit of love is equal to the spirit of power and the spirit of sound mind. The more love you have, the more POWER and THE PRESENCE OF GOD will back you up.

On the other hand, we do not have the spirit of sound mind if we do not have the spirit of love. Do not speak when you are anger or upset. Those are not heavenly wisdom but are earthy, sensual and demonic. When our hearts are full of bitter envy and self-seeking, we better keep quiet. Otherwise, we will bring more confusion to the situations. Only when we are filled with the spirit of love, we will have the spirit of sound mind to speak wisdom that comes from above. This wisdom is pure, peaceful, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. A person who is filled with the spirit of love is a peacemaker who bears the fruits of righteousness.

To conclude, as we meditate on Father’s perfect love everyday, we are eating, swallowing and digesting this love. We live in the blessings of love and we will start to renew our mind and expect good things to come to us. We will no longer fear because God loves us, His nature is love and a loving Father will ONLY give His children good gifts. Fear is exiting the program of our thought patterns and we will soon know nothing except LOVE.

Holy Spirit, season these words with grace and love, so that we can all handle them. Remove the veil off the eyes of our hearts, so the truth will become like honey to our ears. In Jesus’ name Amen. Now, the grace of God is wrapping up the following words: sin, repentance, and confession. Holy Spirit, brings healing to our mind, spirit, soul and body as we read this article.

Battles will not end. Warfare will not cease until we repent. Saul can listen to soothing music all he wants. We can also fast and afflict our bodies all we want. If we do not repent of the particular sin that opens this demonic door, the tormenting demons will not leave. Even if the demon temporary leaves, it will return with seven more if our hearts do not truly repent.

Sometimes we sense heaviness on us. We just do not understand why. We feel dryness and our vitality is gone. (Psalm 51) It is like the hand of God is heavy on us day and night. We are like Saul. There are some types of stubbornness and blindness in us that we just do not know how to change. We do not know how to have breakthrough. We are like a horse or mule, have to be harnessed with bits and bridles; otherwise we cannot submit or obey.

We then groan and say what is wrong with me? Actually, God is waiting on us to be honest with ourselves. He desires truth in the inward parts. Holy Spirit is searching our hearts and He wants us to confess with our mouth the specific sin that opens door to this demonic attack. Still, we do not know how? Let us ask the Holy Spirit to remove the deception off our minds and our hearts, so we can finally SEE. Sometimes we say to ourselves, I did not steal; I did not lie; I did not commit adultery. Why do I need to repent? However, an attitude of unbelief, unforgivness, judgmental, pride, unthankfulness or a heart of fear or depression could be the actual reasons that are causing this heaviness. Once the Holy Spirit identifies it, and when we finally repent on the right sin, demons have no more legal right to stay and must go.

What are the benefits of repentance? Surely, the presence of God will come back. You will feel the returning of the Holy Spirit and you can rejoice again. (Psalm 51) The feelings are like being washed, cleansed, purged thoroughly and you feel like you are as white as snow. You feel more light, peaceful and happy. These are the rewards. Yes, it is not easy. No one wants to hear the word repentance. But, let us go ahead and repent and confess. You will enjoy the feeling of being forgiven. (1 John 9) We will taste of His faithfulness. Also, as we repent of pointing of finger and speaking of wickedness, our own breaches are being repaired. (Isaiah 58) Then, our light shall dawn in darkness. Our souls are satisfied and our bones are strengthened. We become like watered gardens. Yokes are broken off us and God’s healing springs forth speedily. The benefits of repentance will motivate us to open our mouth and confess even when we do not feel like it.

After repentance, we must renew our minds with the truth and our hearts must be transformed into Christ’ nature. We must build the walls of deliverance and salvation. When the tendency to sin is completely destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit, we are transformed into His likeness. We will find it very easy to walk in power, love, and sound mind. We feel like we were born to live in holiness. There are no struggles at all. As we are walking in this new lifestyle, we are surrounding ourselves with the shield of Psalm 91 protection. We abide in Him and bear much good fruits. We are not even tempted to sin at all. Demons can smell holiness in us and run in terror from us. The floods of great water cannot come near us.(Psalms 32:6) We are living in the hiding place, surrounded by the WALL of truth, mercy, deliverance, salvation, grace and the presence of God.

Remember all these are done by grace, not by legalism, nor by works. We are not under law, but we are under grace. We are saved by grace, through faith. This is the work of the Holy Spirit. The wind blows as it wishes. You do not know where it comes from and where it goes. Unconsciously, you find yourself transformed. Those who are fearful, will no longer fear, but will be filled with perfect love and perfect faith. Those who feel sad easily will no longer do that, because the joy of the Lord becomes your strength. How about those who are judgmental or critical? All of a sudden, your perception changes and you just want to open your mouth to praise God and appreciate the good sides of other people. We all become more loving and forgiving as the wind of the Holy Spirit continues to blow over us.

To conclude, this is the power of grace and the revelation of grace. By the grace of God, we are able to discern between good and evil in His everyday training. We will not turn to the right or to the left. We will obey the spirit of truth wholeheartedly. Thus, we shall see the goodness of God in the land of the living.

Let me begin by asking you the following questions? Do you like yourself? Do you think God did not make mistakes? Do you think you are beautiful (for women) and handsome (for men)? This applies to other areas. Do you like your voice? Are you comfortable with your skin color?

There are different kinds of bondage and one of the bondage is called unhealthy self-image. We can plead the blood of Jesus and pray all we want. Still, we do not have real joy. Actually, there is a hidden factor that is causing all this heaviness. That is the way you perceive yourself. The enemy has been sowing lies to us, especially to women, and is telling them they are not beautiful. Once they accept this lie into their mind, they will start to despise themselves and look down on themselves. You wonder why you have all these talents and still cannot get ahead in society. The reason is you allowed this lie to take root and became a stronghold. This stronghold influenced the way you perceive yourself and the way you relate to others. There are constant jealousy rising up from your hearts when you are among beautiful people or when you are watching TV. You do not even dare to tell others the secret of this hidden jealousy in your heart.

This can all be traced back to a negative comment made by your parents or your siblings when you were little. Parents who have low self-image usually instill these kinds of negative values to their children. Parents who do not like their own appearance will not teach their children properly on self-image. That is why you find yourself struggling all the time. You try to be confident. And you just do not know how? Also, you usually set a higher demand on yourself and are being too harsh on yourself.

This is all about perception. To the western world, everyone wants to lose weight. To the Asian world, they think that the bigger the better. Some mothers in the Oriental countries will feed their children weight-gain pills. They even worship fat buddha because they want their children to be chubby. They think that fat women are symbols of beauty and fertility. They perceive being big as a symbol of riches, prosperity and blessings.

When the model industry was introduced to the society, everyone was obsessed with losing weight. Some force themselves to vomit out those foods they just ate in order to keep their slimy figures. Others get dizzy all the time because of lack of carbohydrate. Friends, the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. God did not call us to bondage. Jesus came to set us free. Do not be entangled again with the yoke of this world. Do not be obsessed with lies any more! Of course, if some have eating disorder or gluttony issues, which are originated from anxiety or depression, then they must discipline their appetites and bring their bodies to subjection. (1 Cor 9:27) But I am addressing to those who have average body weights, measured according to the standard clinical chart of height, weight and age proportion. If your weight falls into the average range, then RELAX. Eat a balanced diet everyday. We can all eat carbohydrate, vegetables, meat and fruits in moderation. (Unless you have other health issues, then you must follow doctors’ diet instructions.) Do you know whatever is not faith is sin? We cannot eat in fear. We cannot worry if this mash potato will add more pounds. All the earth belongs to God and all its fullness. (1 Cor 10:25) If you really eat a balanced diet and intake nutritious food, then cast all your cares upon God, for He cares for you! Maintain a balance between self-discipline and liberty.

On the other hand, how can we pull down the stronghold of “I am not beautiful” mentality? First of all, you must believe that God loves you. You must believe that you are fearfully, wonderfully made. You must realize that you are a marvelous work. Everyday when you look at the mirror, you see a beautiful person there. He/She looks like a model. Yes, that is you! When you finally dare to look at the mirror and realize how gorgeous you are, the lie is uprooted and the truth has set you free.

By the blood of Jesus, we are reconciled to God. The dividing wall is broken. God made us accepted in the beloved. God loves us and accepts us. Yet, we reject ourselves. Who am I to insult God’s creation? The reasons why people treat us like grasshoppers, because we reject ourselves in the first place. People can tell if you have self-image problem or not just by the way you carry yourself. In a competitive world, the aggressive will surely target at those who have low self-esteem, those who look down on themselves. Then, you wonder why you are being mistreated everywhere you go. Because you do not believe God loves you. If you believe God loves you, you will act differently. A person who was raised in a family of love will act confidently and cheerfully all the time. You will act like God is for you and you will speak when God tells you to speak.

Friends, you were bought with a price.(1 Cor 6:20) Jesus sheded every drop of blood for you. He purchased you. You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.(1 Cor 3:16) Start to like yourself. Begin to accept yourself. Unless you need creative miracles and you want God to create body parts for you; (** Please read my articles titled CREATIVE MIRACLE) otherwise, be contented in the way you look. If you have all the basic body parts and all the necessary organs, then REJOICE. Learn to get along with yourself first and you will know how to get along with others. God wants His children to shine in darkness. God wants us to show the world how GOOD our God is. We can all glorify God when we finally perceive others and ourselves properly. By the grace of God, the truth will constantly set us free and we will enjoy the liberty of being a Christian.

First and foremost, we must be assured that our Heavenly Father is good and loving. He definitely wants to give us good and perfect gifts. He wants to answer our prayers so that our joy can be full. He wants His children to be cheerful. This is the foundational truth.

Nevertheless, before the manifestations of our prayer requests, there are some works that need to be done with our hearts. Our Lord God wants to circumcise our hearts, so that we will love Him with all our hearts, and with our soul. (Deuteronomy 30) In Exodus 20:3, God said you shall have no other gods before ME. Right now, God is cleansing us from the idols of our hearts. Our hearts must desire Jesus first. Our hearts should worship Jesus, not the gifts. The heart of the gospel: We shall love our Lord with ALL our hearts, with ALL our minds, with ALL our strengths and with ALL our souls. Honestly, most of time, we worship the blessings/gifts more than Jesus Himself. However, nothing can replace Jesus on the throne of our hearts.

Yes, He is testing our hearts. For His sake, are you willing to LET GO OF the very treasures of your hearts? Yes, you have prayed for this for a long time. But for His very sake, are you willing to lay it down on the altar just like Abraham laid down Isaac? Christ wants to be the center of your life. He wants total commitment. He wants real disciples---those who desire Him first and seek Him first. Do you know when the test is over, He will give you back hundred-fold return? When He sees that you fear Him wholeheartedly, He will send angels to bring gifts at your door?

What is the sign that the test of our hearts is over? How can we know the work of circumcision is completed in our hearts? It is when we finally come to the point in which we no longer CONCERN about it. It does not matter any more. We count everything as rubbish, so we can gain Christ.

~~ For instance, some hunger for acceptance/recognition/reputation or titles. When the work of circumcision is completed, you will not even care about fame any more. Then, suddenly, you are brought to Pharaoh and you found yourself clothed with royal robes, sitting on the throne.

~~ How about those who are praying for a spouse? When you come to a point that you are able to rejoice even if you are single. Then immediately, you run into your second-half right at the corner---the one who is predestined for you.

~~ How about those who believe for prosperity? When you finally grasp the meaning of contentment and can delight in simple lifestyle. You no longer feel shameful in areas where you lack. Then instantly, you found yourself living in a big house and driving Mercedes Benz.

When we really delight ourselves in the Lord, He will finally gives us the desire of our hearts. THAT MEANS THE VERY GIFT WE WANT NO LONGER HAS A HOLD ON US.

Not only that, you have no guarantee of what will happen tomorrow. Of course, we believe we have a future and a hope and only good things will come to us. But, what if one day you lose something, you WILL NOT FALL APART because your foundation is on Jesus. You worship Jesus alone, not any gifts, nor any possessions, nor any human beings. God has laid the foundation in you and you are solid like a rock. No wind or rain can shake you. Your true SECURITY is in Christ alone. You have unshakable peace and joy no matter what comes to your way.

Therefore, be thankful now! Rejoice even if you are still in the wilderness, waiting to see the land of Canaan. Sing a new song to God even if you do not feel like it. As a matter of fact, God responds to thankfulness. Count each blessing we already have right now. Just because we have a breath of life is enough reason to be filled with gratitude.

On the other hand, we must be aware of the enemy of our souls. Bitterness and self-pity are the most common weapon the enemy loves to use to steal our promises. In John 5:7, Jesus waited until the 38th year to heal this man, who had a spirit of infirmity at the pool of Bethesda.This man was trapped in his bitterness. He thought life was unfair and he thought he could not get healed because God made him crippled, which was why he missed his chance of healing when the angel stirred the water. Brothers and Sisters, God did not do anything wrong. If Jesus did not stop by, that man would always be that way. A curse without cause shall not alight. (Proverbs 26:2) There is a reason for every problem, but God is never the problem. Also, God did not owe us anything. It is not a time to complain or feeling sorry for us. It is time to count everything we already have and be thankful. Everyday, we need His mercy and grace. Instead, we ought to say if the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that. After all, we are just a vapor that appears for a little while, and then vanishes away! (James 4:14) We should say Son of David, have mercy on me!!

Brothers and Sisters, when He sees our humble and contrite hearts, shall He not drop a tear of mercy and grant us our requests? Shall He not reward us exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask, think, imagine or dream of? Shall He not restore to you the very pearl that you laid on the altar, just like Isaac was returned back to Abraham?

Introduction: Fear of God is the beginning of knowledge. Fear of God is your most powerful weapon. If you fear God, you will not please men and fall into the traps of men. If you fear God, you will have the peace of God. The more you fear God, the more you will have the peace of God. Fear of God is a compass guiding you in the way you think, the way you speak and the way you act. The seven spirits of God from within us will teach and instruct us on these seven pillars of wisdom. As we base our lives on these seven pillars of wisdom, we will become wise, inherit glory, and dwell in safety and security, without fear of evil.

The first pillar of wisdom: The Wisdom of the Tongue. For every kind of beast is tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. (James 3:8) If you can control you tongue, you are already perfect and able to bridle your whole body. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Also, the heart of the righteous studies how to answer. (Prov 15:28) A wise person knows how to restrain his tongue. Never give any promise. There is time to speak and there is time to be silent. Matters you do not understand, you will not add your opinion or be prone to quick judgment. Lip of knowledge is a precious jewel. A talebearer is not trustworthy. A whisperer separates the best friend. If you are able to guard your lip, you are able to guard your life. Mouth of the righteous knows what is fitting and the tongue of the wise brings healing.

The second pillar of wisdom: Purity. We must keep our heart and mind with all diligence. For out of it, spring the issues of life. Solomon here is instructing his son. But the wisdom of purity applies to women too! Our hearts are deceitful and we must be honest before God all the days of our lives so we will not hasten to any snares. For those who have low self-esteem, be careful, because this kind of inferiority complex is easy prey to sexuality immorality. Do not think that opposite sex can fill the void in your soul. Ask for the Holy Spirit healing oil to make your heart whole. Once you are made whole in those areas, you will not seek acceptance from the opposite sex and will no longer be vulnerable to false comfort and sexual immorality. As for single women, pray and wait for God to give you a good head. Your head must be able to lead you and satisfy you in all areas of your life. As for those who are married, keep your marriage vow for God hates divorce. (Malachi 2:15)

The third pillar of wisdom: Slow to Anger. In Proverbs 16:32, He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty and is able to rule his spirit. Also, a brother offended is harder to win than a strong city. Friends, Holy Spirit abides in us and if we discipline ourselves in prayer and holiness, we should be able to bear the fruit of patience, gentleness and self-control. Anger and wrath are rooted in deception, ignorance and pride. Let God be the judge in all situations. Any fool can start a quarrel and we do not want to be a fool. It is his glory to overcome a transgression. Those who have great wrath will suffer punishment. Anyone tries to rescue him have to rescue him again. Forgive one another. Remember, usually, a gentle tongue will break a bone.

The fourth pillar of wisdom: Humility. We all know pride goes before destruction and before honor is humility. A humble person will bring glory to God in all his success. A humble person will heed rebukes and open to advice. Most importantly, God gives GRACE to the humble. Humility is not equal to low-self-esteem. Low self-esteem is false humility. We must all be secure of who we are in Christ, obey God and be faithful to the talents or gifts God has given us. Being confident and yet humble in heart glorifies God. On the other hand, some do not know how to humble themselves. Pride is a deception and needs to be uprooted. More sufferings may not make us humble. Only the revelation of humility can awaken us to true humility. Moses is considered as the most humble man on earth. He was not humble but God had worked on him and he yielded to the revelation of humility and he became the meekest man on earth. If our ears would hear the first time, chastening is not necessary. Choose to obey the revelation of humility now and we can avoid fiery trials.

The fifth pillar of wisdom: The Blessings of Wealth. The crown of the wise is riches. The tent of the upright will flourish. Also, the righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul, but the stomach of the wicked shall be in want. (Proverbs 13:25) Therefore, those who walk uprightly will inherit wealth. The blessings of the Lord make one rich and He adds no sorrow to it. If your ways are pleasing to God, He will grant you the blessings of wealth. After all, the wealth of the sinners is stored up for the righteous. On the other hand, luxury is not for fools. Fools mean those who are greedy, lack of self-control and squander excessively. The wise knows how to manage wealth and use wealth to glorify God.

The sixth pillar of wisdom: Obedience. Deuteronomy Chapter 28 lists in great details the blessings of obedience. An obedient heart will trust in God wholly and leans not on its own understanding. It will acknowledge God in all its ways and God will surely direct its path. An obedient ear is likened to an earring of gold and an ornament of fine gold. (Proverbs 25:12) All the days of our lives, we must apply our hearts to instruction, and our ears to words of knowledge. Everyday, God has set before us life and death, good and evil, and blessings and cursing. As we choose obedience, we choose life that both our descendents and we may live. (Deut 30:9) Notice that it is not too difficult. Ways of obedience are near our mouth, and in our hearts, so that we may DO them.

The seventh pillar of wisdom: A Virtuous Woman. A prudent wife is from the Lord whilst a contentious woman is a continual dripping. A virtuous wife fears the Lord and her own works will praise her in the gates. An excellent wife is the crown of her husband. Eve was created for Adam so that Adam had a partner to help him take dominion over the earth. When couples walk in unity, see how successful their ministry and business will be! The wise woman builds her house but the foolish one pulls it down with her hands. The mouth of a virtuous woman is full of wisdom and her tongue is the law of kindness. She is strengthened by the grace of God. She is smart in business and in making profits. At the same time, she is skillful in household duties. The heart of her husband can safely trust her. She does him good and not evil, all the days of her life. Even her children and husband call her blessed. Her heart is full of compassion and she extends her hand to the poor.

In conclusion, as we build our lives on these seven pillars of wisdom, their light will guide us from within and we shall shine ever brighter in the era of darkness, falsehood and error. As we learn to apply the seven pillars of wisdom to our lives, we shall be called the sons and daughters of the Father of Lights.

Some of us have been going around circles and still have not learnt the very lesson God tried to teach you years ago. Some have been circling around the city of Jericho for more than seven days and still have not gotten any breakthrough. Some are still eating manna in the wilderness when you should be eating the produce from the land of Canaan. The time has come that we must learn quicker. Cry out for the revelation of grace and by this grace, we can mature and grow faster.

There are some types of deception that hinder us to go back to the book of Proverbs. We thought this is an easiest book in the bible and we thought we do not need to read that again. God is so pleased with Solomon because He asked for WISDOM. We all need to cry out for the seven pillars of wisdom. These seven pillars of wisdom lay the foundation of our lives. You can have high calling or great gifts and talents. If you do not have wisdom, sooner or later, you will fall. When the rains descend, the floods come and the wind blows and beats on you, you will fall and great is its fall. (Matthew 7:26) As a matter of fact, you should be able to avoid most troubles if you would have applied wisdom in those areas. Therefore, because of His great love, God cannot release you to your destiny yet, not until you receive and develop wisdom in those areas He has been teaching you.

We all know there were great revivalists God used in history. Later on, because of certain character flaw, they fell severely and caused many to stumble. Then, revival left that city. Those who have ears, let him hear. The revelation of grace is coming to us in which we are able to mature faster than our age. Some should be feeding meat to many and yet they are still surviving on milk. There are young apostles and prophets who are planting churches in their early twenty’s. There are politicians, senators or presidents who step in their office in their thirty’s. Time is running out. There is no more time for God to retrain and re-equip you again. We should have learnt everything God wants us to learn. We should go and change the world, reform society and make history. Harvest time is here. When tones of fish are swimming in, we should be ready to teach them, shepherd them and mentor them. We should set a godly example for them. You cannot wait until that time. That will be too late.

Let us leave our stubbornness. Obey God now. Learn from every lesson. Avoid repeating the same trial. Mature swiftly. When our characters finally match with our callings, God will entrust us with our destiny.

The Revelation of Perfect Faith

Not many have the revelation of perfect faith. Perfect faith is God kind of faith. It is mountain-moving faith. If you have perfect faith, your prayer will be answered instantly. Not many can move mountains. Only those who grasp the revelation of perfect faith.

All these time, God is doing a WORK in you. He is removing all the doubt and unbelief and He is filling those areas with perfect faith. You thought you have faith and you thought you are praying with faith. Actually, you are praying with little faith or imperfect faith. You can scream or yell and act like you are full of faith. But, God is omniscient and He can tell whether you received the revelation of perfect faith yet or not.

The symptoms of imperfect faith are as follows. Sometimes you feel sad or self-pity or think that God does not love you. Or you think you are not worthy for a miracle. Or you do not think good things can come to you. Or one moment you are standing on the promise, another moment you are double-minded and start to doubt God and second-guess yourself. Or you are inconsistent---One moment you decide to trust God wholeheartedly and another second you give up and never accomplish your goal.

The signs of perfect faith are as follows. Your mind is full of hope and your heart swells with joy, REGARDLESS OF THE MANIFECTATION OF THE PROMISE. Even if you pray today and nothing happens, you will not doubt the very promise God has given you. You will act like God love you and He is for you. You will act like you are precious and worthy of good things coming to you. You will not get jealous when someone have something you do not have yet. Because you trust in your God with all your heart. This kind of faith is well pleasing unto God. If you walk in this kind of perfect faith, any minute your promise will come to pass. In any second, that mountain will explode out of your way.

The Bible said we walk by faith, NOT BY SIGNT. Holy Spirit is doing this work in us in which we will no longer be bothered by what you see, hear or feel temporarily. Someone can say something negative to you and you will remain solid, stable, and unshakable. You stand on the promise and know deeply in your spirit, in any second the promise will manifest. When you walk in this realm which transcends physical limitation, ALL THINGS BECOME POSSIBLE. That is why Sarah could conceive at the age of 90. When the natural cannot do it, God can do the supernatural.

The Bible said very clearly without faith, we cannot please God. I do not deny the cases in which miracles happen out of God’s sovereign will, regardless of the level of faith you have. But we must admit the fact that God DOES respond to perfect faith. Jesus could not do many miracles because of their unbelief. Jesus one time shut the door from people of unbelief and only allowed his beloved disciples to stay in the room, so the room was filled with faith only, before he performed any miracles. The lady’s touch was a touch of perfect faith and instantly power came from Jesus body and healed her bleeding condition.

Every one of us received certain promises of God. Some people received their promises earlier. Why? They had the revelation of perfect faith and they MIXED THEIR PROMISES WITH FAITH. Of course, God may allow a waiting process. Despite the waiting process, some still receive the promises faster than others do, because they mix their promises with faith. Their hearts and minds are perfectly stable and their eyes fix on the promises with undivided attention. God is well pleased and the promises must come to pass. That is the principle throughout the whole bible—of how faith unlocks the promises of God. Enoch could walk in such perfect faith and pleased God to such an extent that God had to take him away without tasting death. We all have the same nature like Elijah. If the patriarchs could please God like that, we can also be one of those faith giants in the hall of faith.

Let us pray for the Spirit of revelation to open our hearts and understand the revelation of PERFECT FAITH.

Women, God loves you. You are very unique and special. You are fearfully wonderfully made, marvelous is God’s work. Women are tender in nature. You are sensitive to people and are understanding. On the contrary, men are more logical and analytic. Most importantly, men and women complement each other. Men need women’s tender side while women need to be balanced with men’s rational side.

According to I Tim2:13 Adam was formed first, then Eve. Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.
Emotion is the good side of women. This emotion is created by God and it is supposed to be very constructive. When women are filled with godly emotion, see how the body of Christ will be touched. Sometimes when the presence of God is strong, Holy Spirit will touch us with holy weeping. Or when a woman sees a person in need, she may release tears of compassion. That is holy and godly. Because of that holy weeping, people will sense healing touch. This is very constructive and meaningful.

But there is another kind of crying. That is negative and destructive. This kind of sorrow will produce death. That is self-pity crying. Because of this emotional side of women, the serpent tends to attack them with lies of self-pity or unworthiness. This emotional side of women is very vulnerable area. It may not be weakness. But the devil takes advantage and attacks this area all the time. Once you give in to the first temptation of poor me mindset, other self-destructive emotions will all creep in. Feelings of self-hatred, depression, hopeless etc…..The list will go on and on….until you are saturated with unbelief. Once the stronghold of unbelief is built in you, you will wonder why your prayers are not answered!!

According to 2 Cor 7:10, godly sorrow leads to repentance while sorrow of the world produces death. Holy Spirit lives inside of us. If we will humble ourselves and allow the blood of Jesus to cleanse us from the filthiness of the flesh and spirit, we will perfect our emotion in holiness and the fear of God. (2 Cor 7:1) If we will focus our mind on the simplicity of Christ, our emotion will be chaste like virgin to Christ. (2 Cor 11:1-3) All our pessimism had been crucified with Christ, it’s no longer I who live, but Christ’ emotion dwells in me. (Gal 2:20) We are able to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit---self-control. We don’t need to be the victim of self-pity crying. God has given you a way of escape. He is faithful and you are able to walk in redeemed emotion, which is the godly emotion of faith, hope, love, peace and joy. (1 Cor 10:13)

Women, God is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. (2 Cor 4:17) God is turning our corrupt emotion into holy emotion of Himself. God wants our emotion to speak for Him. Christ wants our emotion to shine for the lost. If we are crying bitterly like everyone else in the world, who will have HOPE? He wants us to be lighthouse in the midst of storm and darkness. He wants us to move in holy laughter when everyone is sad and sorrowful. He wants us to flow in compassion and mercy when people in the world are mean and selfish. Women, by the blood of Jesus, we become redeemed Eve---a vessel of compassion and mercy. Even our countenance speaks for God. When they look at our face, they start to understand the feminine side of God, which is full of love, compassion and mercy. After all, women, you are made in the image and likeness of El Shaddai---the affectionate One who nourish us. Our mind, our face, our emotion, even our body gestures are reflecting the likeness of God. As we continue in faith, love, holiness with self-control, we will enjoy the holy emotions God deposited in us. We will enjoy the transformation of the Holy Spirit and all the fruits of the Holy Spirit!
